Exhibitors 2024

A total of 110 exhibitors from 14 countries presented their products and services to the lift industry at the new industry platform The Elevator Show Dubai.

Over the three days of the trade fair, approximately 3,700 visitors from 76 countries came to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to attend the first edition of The Elevator Show (TES) Dubai.

Etiquette

Dubai stands out as a cosmopolitan hub, embracing a diverse array of attires and cultural expressions. While swimwear is perfectly acceptable at beaches, waterparks, public pools, and spa areas, it's not deemed appropriate in settings like business districts and shopping malls.

In Dubai's historic neighborhoods and places of worship, dressing conservatively is encouraged. Specific guidelines apply for entering mosques, including attire that covers shoulders, arms, and legs, along with headscarves for women.

Alcohol is accessible in Dubai, where individuals aged 21 and above, both tourists and residents, can enjoy alcoholic beverages at licensed establishments including hotels, restaurants, and designated lounges. Nonetheless, strict regulations govern against drunken behavior and drink-driving, emphasizing the importance of responsible consumption for visitors and residents alike.

Visa

No Visa: For citizens of the GCC states as well as for residents of Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Czech Republic, Hungary, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City and Cyprus, no visa is required in advance to enter Dubai. The entry permit can be obtained upon arrival.

However, for nationals of all other countries, it is necessary to obtain a visa prior to arrival in the UAE.
