The Elevator Show Dubai: launch of a new trade fair for the lift industry in 2024
Preparations are underway for this new lift trade fair in Dubai. The Elevator Show (TES) is aimed at markets in the fast-growing regions of North Africa, the Middle East and India. More than 80 exhibitors will be taking part in the 2024 Elevator Show Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 16 to 18 September, presenting a wide range of lift components.
Dubai – Numerous exhibitors, as well as joint stands from Europe, India and China, have already registered for the 2024 Elevator Show Dubai. These exhibitors include, among others, Elgo Batscale, Invertek Drives, Meiller, Montanari, Orona, Sassi and Ziehl-Abegg. Joint national stands are being organised by VFA interlift, the Italian organisations ANACAM and ANICA, the China Elevator Association in cooperation with China Shippers and, for Indian participants, ISEEVENTUS (formerly TAK Expo). The Elevator Show Dubai will focus on lift components and related services, opportunities to meet experts, and the right know-how. The Elevator Show Dubai will take place in Za’abeel Hall 6 of the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Dubai World Trade Centre is centrally located, and there are numerous hotels and restaurants on the exhibition grounds and in the surrounding area.
The managing directors of the trade fair organiser AFAG, Henning and Thilo Könicke, rate current registration numbers for this new industry event as really positive: “We’re delighted that the Elevator Show Dubai will be launching in September. It will be a very international event, primarily aimed at the regions of North Africa, the Middle East and India, with lift components from well-known manufacturers on display. It’s clear to us that there’s a great deal of interest in attending this new lift fair.”
The Middle East, like North Africa and India, is one of the fastest growing regions in the world. Well over 600,000 lift installations are in operation in Egypt, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates alone, and almost 40,000 new installations will be added in the near future. With no end in sight to the construction boom, the lift industry is involved in all of these projects.
The Elevator Show TES provides a platform for the lift industry in this thriving region. As the first international industry event, the fair is a key opportunity for companies in the region to do business with global manufacturers, suppliers, installers, planners, developers, architects, engineers and investors.
